The Island Chair comes fully assembled. Just hook it up and enjoy it! The chair will
also not fall apart when you fold it up for transportation. Custom made, powder
coated aluminum tubes for the support system provide superior strength and do
not break or split in the sun, as wooden sticks can.
The swivel snap hook is made of stainless steel and easy to hook up. The swivel
also allows the chair to rotate. A suspending rope is furnished with each Chair, so
you can hang it from a wooden beam or a tree branch (make sure they support the
weight). Stainless 'D' rings connect the half inch polyester rope securely to the
chair, giving it stability and safety.
The seat is larger and deeper than most other hanging chairs. The Island Chair is
made of the finest, thickest, most durable boat canvas. The seat is sewn, using
two layers of fabric. The trims and the edges of the entire chair are enforced with
strong black webbing.
The specific colors of the Island Chairs are selected, based on their positive, uplifting energy value. Colors
that do not fall into this category are: Burgundy, Hunter Green, Navy Blue, Beige and Brown.
The adjustable pillow is designed to support your head when reading or cradles your neck when relaxing.
The built-in armrests are designed for optimal relaxation of shoulders, neck and chest. The back of the chair
is designed for extra lumbar support. Easily adjustable pitch for comfortable seating or to recline for
sleeping and relaxing, praying or meditation.
The adjustable and padded foot rest is made of canvas. Correct position of the adjustable foot rest is
important for your comfort and circulation (see Adjustments). You can adjust the footrest while sitting in the
Island Chair. The foot rest is attached to the side of the chair and does not restrict your view.
